T of T’s crafTy ways
- Describe yourself in one word.
- Best thing about working with the International Heat authors?
Just being part of the fun, the ladies are great they are the sisters I wish I had growing up J
- Can you tell us a little more about your role at International Heat?
I always tease the girls they keep me around for comic relief 😉 I don’t really have a role, with the new avenue we are taking things are changing and we are all dropping into different roles, so I guess I’m still finding my way.
- What are your thoughts about the erotica genre?
- The ideal ‘International Heat’ man…
First he must have an Australian accent, (non-negotiable) Tall, Dark and sexy wouldn’t hurt as well as very rich and he must be MINE (that part is also non-negotiable )
- The ideal ‘International Heat’ woman…
Lila Dubois and Mari Carr those two would be dangerous rolled into one woman, they have jumped into the new ‘US’ and are pushing us all forward. International Heat will be a household name among all readers one day and it will be a lot in part that those two won’t let any of us give up!
- Favourite erotica/romance novelist and book?
I don’t really have single favourite author but I drop all for a new release from Stormy Glenn, Amber Kell, Lynn Hagen, Laurelly K. Hamilton or Sherrilyn Kenyon.
- Something you’d like readers to know about erotica novels?
IT ISN’T PORN! I hate it when people give me that look when they realize I read mostly erotic romance novels. I’m not ashamed of what I read.
- Something you’d like people to know about erotica novelists?
Writing erotica doesn’t make anyone less of an author; these ladies and men put just as much of their hearts into their books as Nora Roberts or Stephen King.
- What inspires you?
Everything and everyone around me. I never know when I’m going to see something or someone will say something and I’ll get an idea something new.
- The number one thing on your bucket list…
I know this is scandalous to admit but I don’t really have a bucket list, I’m very much a homebody
- What book has changed your opinion/stance on something important to you, and why?
Every new book I read changes the way I look at things, I don’t think there is any one book and if it is significant enough to change the way I view something than it was important to me, even if I didn’t know it at the time.
- Biggest accomplishment to date:
Two things really one of my reviews was quoted on the cover of one of Z.A. Maxfield’s books and I just recently had a piece of my art published on the back cover of a new art magazine called Featuring, It is an international art magazine. (only 4 issues to date) It was a piece of mail art I sent in, It was shrunk down to what we call an ‘inchie’ a piece art done on a one inch square most don’t really get it but out of the hundreds of pieces of mail art mine caught someone eye maybe not enough to get a full size spot in the magazine but enough that it did get published, so I guess those would be my biggest accomplishments they are the ones that make me smile J
- What’s next for you?
Get my art published ‘inside’ a magazine!
This isn’t exactly new art art, dominos have always been a part of this just represents my slightly darker humour, you can view more of these and my my author promo at my blog.
