Tell us about Scarred Protector:
Scarred Protector is book two in the Midworlder Trilogy. Angels and demons are not what you think. They are aliens, and the Midworlders are their representatives on Earth. An Angelic Midworlder called Heath goes to the aid of Evie who is about to be attacked by Demonics. He soon discovers she can see the angels and demons around her and is in grave danger. He is captivated by Evie who has physical and mental scars like him. The two of them are tortured souls who are deeply connected by his past. What Heath does not know is that there is an evil lurking inside Evie that could kill them both.

What inspired this novel?
I decided a few years back to write a novel about angels and demons. I found most novels out there were based around the religious elements of these creatures. I wanted to change the myth behind them and give a whole new take on why angels and demons existed. In my books they are parasitic aliens who the myths have been built up around. Scarred Protector is book two in the Midworlder Trilogy.

What are you reading right now?
Kissed by Water by Delwyn Jenkins. It is the third book in The Watchtower Chronicles and is excellent.

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Visit Tuscany and see the painting the Birth of Venus. Might pop up to Lake Como and see George Clooney while I’m there. Anyone for coffee?

Best thing about being an Aussie?
Living in a beautiful country from the outback to the sea, and the wine.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
Book Three in the Midworlder Trilogy called Lost Protector
Book Three in the Earthbound Trilogy called Worlds Reclaimed
A Death at the Theatre. Book two in the Larch Detective Agency series.
Some surprise contemporary and women’s fiction books too. I’ll be busy.

What were your big achievements of 2015?
I published more books and presented my first workshop on EBook publishing. I also ventured into the world of self-publishing with my 1920’s murder mystery called A Death in the Family.
