It’s a funny, sexy, dirty MFM menage novella set in my Ashton Heights Fire world

What inspired this novel?
I had so much fun writing Burning Up, which was a spinoff of Erica’s Choice, for the Down and Dirty boxed set that I had to write the sequel Giving Off Sparks. And in that book the hero Rob shared a house with two other firefighter who had a reputation for sharing women. Well, you know that Blair and Leo were going to have to get their own story, right? Hot In Here was always going to be written, it was just a question of when because I love the world I’ve created in Ashton Heights. So I guess I inspired myself. LOL.

What are you reading right now?
A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby, and it’s sooooo good.

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
A train trip through the Canadian Rockies and Alaska.

Best thing about being an Aussie?
You are never the only one in the room being an irreverent troublemaker. 🙂

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
It rocks! It’s fun over here in this genre and if you’re one of those who are snickering and condescending to the most popular genre in the world because you’ve got some warped sense of what is and isn’t legitimate… well, you’re missing out, and we’ve all stopped listening to you anyway. That is all.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
Oh, the last two books in my Wild Crush series are coming out next year. Imperfect Penelope will be out in March and Unbreakable Hope is slated for release in July. I’m so proud of that whole body of work, five books that are all complex and sexy love stories. When I see them lined up on my bookshelf I always smile :).

What were your big achievements of 2015?
I honestly think it’s an achievement to continue writing and publishing in the current market, no matter if your books sell or win awards. By the end of this year I will have written two full length, complex novels plus two novellas, all while raising a family and holding down a day job. I’ve managed to keep pushing myself through exhaustion, distractions, demotivation, disappointment and disillusionment (and yes I’ve struggled with them all). I’ve remained disciplined and I’ve stuck to my guns creatively. I’ve continued to write what I believe in and I take great satisfaction from that. That is what I see as my greatest achievement of 2015.
