AUSSIE MONTH with TF Walsh

Describe yourself in one word:
Imaginative

Tell us about what inspired Cloaked:
My latest novella, Cloaked is the first story in The Wulfkin Legacy Series. I grew up listening to bedtime Romanian stories that could only be compared to the Brothers Grimm tales, and ever since then folklore and mythology has fascinated me. These influences have trickled into my stories, and in particular Cloaked & Cloaked in Fur, which are based in Transylvania—a place seeped in legends. Now, when it comes to love, I’m a sucker for stories about two people from different worlds falling madly in love and fighting against the odds to stay together. This is the story I wanted to tell in The Wulfkin Legacy series; showing how far someone was willing to go to hold onto true love.

What are you reading right now?
Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Take my husband to Romania and trek through the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania

Best thing about being an Aussie?
Laid back attitudeJ

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
The romance genre is very broad and so much more then the hero and heroine falling in love the moment they meet. It’s about the process of how two people overcome obstacles in their lives to finally allow themselves to be happy with each other and themselves. For me, the greatest aspect of the romance genre is the conflict between the hero and heroine and how it helps each character grow.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
Two more books in The Wulfkin Legacy Series are scheduled for release in 2016:
Cloaked in Secrecy (Book #2) – March14, 2016
Cloaked in Blood (Book #3) – May 2016

What were your big achievements of 2015?
I sold a three-book deal to my publisher and I completed 5 manuscriptsJ

The wulfkin have rules. Although Daciana knows what they are, she can’t help but be attracted to Inspector Connell Lonescu, a forbidden human.

When given the opportunity to take part in a one-year independence ritual, Daciana leaps at the chance to venture into the human world. That joy is short-lived when the bear cubs she’s assigned to protect go missing. In desperation, she reaches out to the police, but what she never expected was to be instantly attracted to the brooding, yet wonderfully seductive Connell.

Inspector Lonescu trusts no one, including the sinfully sexy Daciana. When she comes to him with wild claims and a suspicious story, he has no reason to believe her, but yet, he can’t help but be intoxicated by her. Something about her is pulling him to her, but allowing that to continue will mean he’ll have to let go of his mistrust and open himself up for something more.

Is Daciana ready to risk it all to be with a man she’d been warned to stay away from? Can Connell find the cubs and ensure that Daciana will not have to return home in disgrace?
