Tell us about inspired Cadence:
This novel was originally a serial sent to my newsletter subscribers. The hero, Jax, is a minor character in my Blue Phoenix rock romance series. The subscribers encouraged me to turn the serial into a book and Cadence is now the first in a new series.

What are you reading right now?
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I’ve just finished watching the TV series.

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Renew my vows in Vegas – and I’m doing it in June!

Best thing about being an Aussie?
That I am accepted as one! (I’m dual national British/Aussie) And the lack of cold winters is a bonus too.

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
Thanks to self-publishing, I think there is always something fresh being produced, and an amazing range to choose from. These days more than ever, it’s impossible to say ‘romance is a formula’.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
On 28th January, Shuffle (Ruby Riot #2) is released. I’ll also be releasing the third book in the Ruby Riot series, the last Blue Phoenix book, and I’m involved in a paranormal romance series ‘world-building project’ with a number of other authors later in the year.

What were your big achievements of 2015?
I began to make enough income to become a full-time author which is a dream come true for me and never something I expected to happen. Cadence reached top 500 on Amazon US which was a big moment for me and an anthology I was part of reached top 100.
