Tell us about The Mackenzie Series: Charmed, Betrayed, Seduced:
The Mackenzie Series is three stories following the stormy romance of Lady Adrianna Beechwood and her Highland smuggler Laird Drew Mackenzie. Set in the Georgian Era, Adrianna first meets her handsome Highlander at a London ball and the attraction is mutual, however her father has other ideas and plans to marry her to an old widower but Adrianna refuses. She is determined to pursue her delicious Highlander. Through a mutual friend, she begins a clandestine romance with Drew but trouble with his clan means he must leave her and return to Scotland. In his absence, Adrianna’s father makes a match for her with a disgusting French Baron and sends her to France. Finding herself aboard a pirate ship, she has one chance of escape and must hope, Drew in the disguise of infamous pirate Le Diable Noir (The Black Devil) will save her from a forced marriage.

What inspired this novel?
I have no idea what inspires my stories. I write many genres and they just pop into my head and remain until I write the story.

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
It is a very diverse genre, so try a few different books and seek out new authors. You will be pleasantly surprised.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
I will be submitting an Australian Rural Suspense Romance. It’s a sweet romance with tall handsome cowboys set in the idyllic Kimberly region. My very strong willed heroine joins two women from the USA in an effort to uncover a murderer in the Outback.

What were your big achievements of 2015?
In January 2015, I was delighted to be named Luminosity Publishing UK’s Bestselling Author of 2014.
