What inspired this novel?
I’ve been a house sitter in the past, and one of my regular clients had exactly the same conversation with me that my heroine Jill has with one of her housesitting clients – discussing the idea of Husband Sitting – keeping cheating husbands ‘happy’ at home while their wives skip off on vacation. Naturally, I never considered the idea because I didn’t have Jill’s problem – a kid sister who needed a shirtload of money to save herself from ending up in a Bangkok jail! Jill isn’t even sure if she can do the job, but at ten thousand dollars a week, she has to try. What follows, and her attempts to keep her new job secret from her three besties, was such fun to write. I can’t wait for reader to discover it.

What are you reading right now?
Cocky Bastard by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. I’m only part-way in, but I love the sexy Aussie hero (my fav kind) and the laugh-out-loud moments. Sexy, funny stories about unlikely matches are my right up my alley, so I’m sure I’m going to enjoy this.

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Get outside Earth’s atmosphere into the blackness of space. Ever since the Apollo missions I’ve been obsessed, and Virgin Galactic has made the goal a whole lot more achievable. I’m determined to do it in my lifetime.

Best thing about being an Aussie?
Can I have two things? The weather – I live by the Coral Sea in Queensland with Goldilocks weather – not too hot and not too cold. Plus, The food – I’m surrounded by farms with roadside stalls, so I can buy mangoes in season, lettuce that was just picked that morning, and the most amazing ambrosia strawberries you’ve ever tasted! My sea change has made me so much healthier than I was when I was living in the city.

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
That it’s fun! One of the things I love most about romance is that it explores real-life emotional issues, so it gives us tools for navigating life’s emotional journey. But if you can’t laugh along the way, what’s the point? Romantic comedy helps us laugh at ourselves and the crazy ways that love and lust make us behave! It’s my favourite genre.

What have you got in store for your readers in 2016?
My Husband Series launches with HUSBAND SIT on February 17, and I’ll be following that with HUSBAND STAY on April 13, HUSBAND HEEL on June 15 and HUSBAND ROLLOVER on August 17. So there’s a whole lot of sexy craziness coming to Amazon Kindle this year!

What were your big achievements of 2015?
Writing aforementioned books! Last year was a quiet, stay at home year for me, but it’s all about book releases this year.
