Tell us a little about your book:
Trapped by Cupid is a short story part of a Valentine’s Day Anthology. Lisa and Noah get trapped in an elevator and Lisa finds that Noah has a chink in his armour. They spend the time they’re stuck getting to know each other, if you know what I mean! 😉 LOL

What does Valentine’s Day mean to you?
For so many years it was just another day and to me it’s still just another day. Some years my hubby and I buy things for each other, some we don’t. Living in the US I’ve found Valentine’s Day is huge here in schools. The kids have to give cards to everyone in their class! You can buy packs of 32 cards but they’re only little.

Favourite Valentines Day memory?
Probably last year, my husband was away in Perth for the whole month of February. He sends me a text asking if a delivery arrived for me. I said it hadn’t. He was pretty annoyed. Anyway I’m in bed ringing and my doorbell rings at 10pm and I was probably the last delivery the guy had to make! LOL

Best ever Valentine’s Day gift you’ve given or received?
Would have to be the flowers I got last year.

What’s the appeal of the romance genre for you as a writer? As a reader?
As a reader I just love romance. I started with the Sweet Dreams romances when I was about 12 and haven’t stopped. I love the happy endings and seeing total Alpha males go weak at the knees when he meets his match. As a writer I want to bring the same feelings I get as a reader to the people who read my book. I want them to sigh at the end of my books. Laugh and cry. That’s why I write.
