What are your plans for Christmas 2014?
To not travel and to have a family Christmas on our farm.

 

Tell us about a usual Christmas in your home?
Christmas day is usually spent swimming, eating and chillaxing.

 

Any gift in particular that you’d love to see wrapped under the tree?
No 🙂 Just having everyone together is worth all the wrapped gifts under a tree.

 

What is a typical Christmas lunch and/or dinner at your house?
Each family member has their own “menu” and can choose their favourite foods to eat all day. So we can have anything from pancakes for breakfast through to potato gems for lunch.

 

Tell us, what is the one dish that gets served every single year? Is there a story behind this?
Trifle! The kids Granny always makes such a lovely one and each year we try to replicate her recipe and never quite succeed. Needless to say we have fun trying.

To start preparing for Christmas early. Especially your grocery list. Even small town grocery stores can become a nightmare in the festive season.

 

What will you be reading this Christmas?
Hopefully many books from my TBR pile.
