What is your background with regard to writing?
I began writing about 6 years ago, when I found myself confined to the house with a baby and unable to go out and work on the land like I was used to. I love motherhood and Chloe is my everything, don’t get me wrong, but I also needed to unleash my creative side. So, I sat down and began writing Rosalee Station, unaware it was going to be signed by Penguin within a month of handing the manuscript in. 6 books in and I am now writing for Harlequin. I couldn’t imagine my life without writing…I love it!
Tell us about Country At Heart and what inspired this story?
Country At Heart was my latest book to hit the shelves on September 1st 2014. I wanted to write about our amazing Aussie heroes that fight the war with their bomb detection dogs by their sides.
What are you reading right now?
My Brother-But-One by T.M. Clarke
Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Go to the southern parts of America with my hubby so we can see live country music shows, eat copious amounts of pie and experience ranch life.
Best thing about being an Aussie?
Everything!
What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
It’s not only for women – it’s for men too.
