1. Describe yourself in one word:
Determined.
2. The best thing about being a wordsmith:
Being able to create characters and have things happen to them!
3. You wish you wrote:
More words every day
4. If you weren’t writing, what would you be doing?
Walking on the beach
5. Favourite fictional character:
Katherine Swynford in Katherine. A historical novel published almost fifty years ago.
6. The one author you would you spend your last $20 on?
Nora Roberts
7. What book has changed your opinion/stance on something important to you, and why?
Angel Bait by Tricia Skinner. I was not a big fan of the paranormal genre until I read this book. She changed my reading habits.
8. Biggest accomplishment to date:
Not having a rejection 🙂
9. What’s next for you?
I have a promotion trail for my next three books coming up, which are out in September, October and November. Dangerous Desire, Outback Affair (Affair Series Book 3) and Tangling with the CEO.(Half Moon Bay Series Book 1). And…I have three books to write before March. Books 2 an 3 in the Half Moon Bay series and a historical for a continuity series which I am really looking forward to… the Emerald Quest.
10. Of all the possible locations, what led you to choosing Italy as the backdrop for your recent novel, Italian Affair?
It was hearing a story about the island of Lipari from my friend who discovered her birth grandfather there that gave me Brianna’s story so it had to be set there.
11. Do you have a history/background in Italy?
LOL…I have an Italian son-in-law so we are immersed in the culture food and language.
12. I’d never ask anyone to try to pinpoint just one thing they love about Italy (that’d be like choosing your favourite child!), so tell me – what three things epitomise Italy for you?
The romance, food and music.
13. Favourite city/sight/location in Italy?
The Amalfi coast. It is superb.
14. There just has to be at least one foodie question – what’s your favourite Italian food or can you share with us your best dining experience in Italy?
Gnocchi… I love it! And my son-in-law is a fabulous chef (at home that is).
