What is your background with regard to writing?
I read a lot, and then I started to write.
When did you first begin writing with a view of embarking on a career as a published author?
When I joined RWA in 2011
What is your writing routine?
Highly erratic.
Favourite snack whilst writing?
M&Ms.
If you weren’t writing, what would you be doing?
Reading.
What do you find easiest to write? And,the hardest?
I find emotion the hardest to write, and dialogue the easiest.
Tell us about the first book you wrote:
The first book I wrote and finished (I never finished a book until after joining RWA and learning ‘stuff’) was a paranormal romance about a demon marriage of convenience. I used to think it was unsalvageable, but one of my ninjas thinks otherwise, so there’s hope!
One thing you’d like readers to know about the romance genre…
There are intelligent romance novels out there.
