Hmm.

This is going to be interesting 🙂

Without a doubt, I would choose a sigh-worthy male lead/s  for $5 please. I am an absolute sucker for a romance. I am particularly obsessed with the quiet and mysterious leading men, who can’t help but keep their heroines guessing, whilst drawing them in with their insane sexiness.

*Sigh*

Next on the menu, can I order a side of emotional connection to the characters for $3 please. Personally, I feel in order to want to go on a book’s journey – you have to connect emotionally to the characters. And I’m not even talking about a full on sob-fest, where you are bawling your eyes out and hiding your ugly cries from your partner who wonders what the hell is wrong with you. I’m simply meaning that I like to really ‘get’ the character I am reading about; even if I may not necessary agree with their choices or actions – I just need to understand where they are coming from on an emotional level.

Finally, we get to the dessert! For my last $2, I would choose dizzying sexual chemistry. I, in particular, love the slow build between the two leads where you are on the edge of your seat just waiting for them to fall victim to their intense attraction. For me, the build can almost be more sexy that the actual sex, and I love going on that ride with the characters.

These are some of the reasons I chose to start writing novels myself, as I wanted to bring some of the things I love reading about to life. My Cut series, has all of these menu items on its plate. The mysterious rockstar, Mr Jay Ryker. An emotional journey for the reader to go with the heroine, Penelope. As well as an intense attraction and undeniable chemistry that is hard for them to resist, despite their worlds trying to pull them apart. Does Penny find her happily ever after in the final novel of her trilogy? Well, I don’t have enough money to choose that item on the menu; but if you would like to find out, Bleeding Love (Cut 3) is released on April 7.
