I was asked the other day, if I’d ever wished I could live out one of my romances I’ve written and you know what, I’m not so sure that I would, and here’s a few reasons why…

Firstly, I’d actually miss all those mundane things like picking up my husband’s dirty socks and washing his work clothes with all the grease smears and petrol smells a mechanic brings home with him.

I’d miss making lunches every morning and instead, have to be capably handling some kind of community crisis. And grocery shopping! Okay, actually, my characters do occasionally go into a grocery store, so that part probably wouldn’t be too much of a change.

I’d REALLY miss having to think up meals EVERY night, and listen to the complaining about how much they hate mash potatoes, and then end up throwing most of it to the dog… My characters would never have fussy, ungrateful children, and quite frankly, how boring would that be!

Also, I think I’d be somewhat suspicious of a tall, dark stranger appearing in my life—usually at the most inconvenient time. I mean—seriously? Like that happens in life… I’d really hate all the spontaneous sex with wide shouldered, narrow hipped men with sexy stubble, sauntering around in my bedroom at all hours of the night and day…wait. What? I’m sorry… what was the question again?
