What is your background with regard to writing?
I only started writing a year ago, prior to that I was an artist (and still am).  I began writing then submitted my first manuscript and was very excited when it was accepted by the very first publisher. So now I’m an erotic romance writer. I have 10 novels published – 1×6 BDSM club series, 1×2 Immortal Vampire Hunter series and 2 standalones – one about daemons, demons and love,  the other a ménage.

 

Tell us about Whipped Delights:
Whipped Delights is book one in a new BDSM series called Dark Desires.  Rather than be set in a club this series is set in the vanilla world.  Let’s face it – no one knows what goes on behind closed doors.  It comes out as an ebook on January 28th then out as a print book in July.

 

What inspired this novel?
I wanted to move away from my previous BDSM series that was set in a club.  Instead I wanted to show that great kinky sex happens all the time behind closed doors.

 

What are you reading right now?
Right now I’m in the middle of Kathy Reich’s latest – Bones of the Lost.

 

Number one thing to do on your bucket list?
Find ‘Mr. Right’ …. Lol! No-  actually it’s to have a few days writing holiday in the mountains of this glorious country.

 

Best thing about being an Aussie?
Living in a wonderful friendly country with such diverse cultures from indigenous to people from every country in the world.

 

What you want readers to know about the romance genre?
That it covers a wide gamut of sub-genres and they are all fabulous. Though they all have the ‘boy meets girl’ plotline that’s where it ends.  You can have ones with murders, vampires, scifi, mysteries, immortals, eroticism, historical,  LBGT, fantasy, paranormal ….. the list goes on and on. Oh and remember not all romances are sweet and syrupy, some have their main characters hating each other! The only thing they do have in common is ‘love’!

 

What have you got in store for your readers in 2015?
A few more books in the new series plus the 3rd book in the Vampire Hunter series – this time you’ll meet the ‘king’ of the Hunters who’s been alive for over 4500 years! He’s struggling emotionally from being alone so long and there is a good chance he will ‘enter the sun’ to kill himself.

 

What were your big achievements of 2014?
Being published and  the fact that all of my books have been on my publisher’s top 30 Bestseller List – with all but 2 making it to the top 3, even had a couple of #1’s!
