Congratulations to Iris Blobel on the second edition release today of New Beginnings. The story is now a bit sexier and has also received another edit.
BUILD US YOUR IDEAL STORY
Thank you J’aimee for having me here today.
I’m not much of a shopper, so this task was a challenge … but I love a good challenge!
According to my $10 spent, I should have the ideal story … theoretically anyway, but why don’t you all find out yourself. NEW BEGINNINGS is now available on amazon.
$5 – Once in a lifetime love … sprinkled with a bit of chocolate for sweetness
Spending big straight up because I believe in the “till death do us apart” kind of lifetime love. In NEW BEGINNINGS Sophie’s dad left when she was only a child, and her sister’s father was never part of their life. For Sophie life at the moment is all about making the best of the opportunity of the inheritance. Her mother’s bad luck with men doesn’t deter her from believing in love, but she doesn’t trust easily. She makes sure whoever conquers her heart will hold it for good.
$3 – Conflict that forces personal growth … with a glass of wine to cope
Best $3 spent I reckon. People need to make mistakes and learn from it, the same with learning from conflict. Trust doesn’t come easy for Sophie and when she jumps to conclusion without finding out the facts. But not only with the help of her much younger sister, but also from Zach from across the road, does she learn to give people a second chance.
$2 – Take-charge hero … for the best BBQ steak
Every book needs a take-charge hero. Mark doesn’t make a great first impression when he meets Sophie to tell her about her inheritance — he knows next to nothing about the testator. Despite his better judgement he walks a fine line crossing the business relationship, but there’s something about Sophie that keeps occupying his mind, and he’s determined to find out more about her.
The chance to start life all over with the help of a stranger.
Twenty-two-year-old Sophie Levesque has been guardian to her eight-year-old sister Mia since their mother’s death a few years ago, and it hasn’t been easy. Luck comes their way when they inherit a small house in Hobart. Problem is, though, they don’t know and have never heard of Clara Bellinger, the testator. Settling into their new life, Sophie is still afraid it’s all a mistake.
Mark O’Connor, attorney in Hobart and the bearer of the good news for Sophie and Mia, curses himself for the lack of information about the testator. However, researching the questions gives him an opportunity to see Sophie again, and the more time he spends with the two, the more he realises that his life is missing something. And it’s not his casual lover Linda.
But then there’s Zach, Sophie’s sexy neighbour from across the road… and a very good friend of Clara’s.
Will unravelling the mystery unravel Sophie and Mark’s promise of a future?
