REVIEW: Cherry Shephard’s ‘Imperfect’

Imperfect
Cherry Shephard

A well-paced story centring primarily around two somewhat broken characters finding solace and comfort in one another.

Dealing with huge issues such as PTSD, abusive relationships, and addiction, Imperfect sounds as though it’s a heavy/dark read but Cherry Shephard has done exceptionally well to balance out the difficult subject matter and present it in a palatable manner.

The hero is beautifully flawed and as much as I didn’t want to like him, Shephard presented the duality of his character brilliantly.

A great read—I’ll be keeping an eye on Cherry Shephard’s next release!
