REVIEW: Tricia Stringer’s ‘A Chance of Stormy Weather’

Tricia Stringer

It is well known that Tricia Stringer excels at depicting rural life and A Chance of Stormy Weather is no exception.

In a story that sees city meet country, Stringer perfectly encapsulates the perception that country life is slow and easy with the reality of just how difficult life on the farm actually is. From the high-stakes weather lottery, mouse plagues, and the challenges of daily life, Stringer addresses it all.

From a romance perspective, I liked that the story dealt with life post-wedding—usually a challenging and telling time and one that was presented well in the story.

A Chance of Stormy Weather is an engaging story told by one of Australia’s finest rural romance novelists
